Epidemiological investigation of Lyme disease in some areas of Qinghai Province

Abstract: The investigate of epidemiology of bovine and mousewere conducted by indirect immune fluorescence antibody method. The tick borne bacteria was detected by direct immune fluorescence antibody and dark field microscopy. The results showed that the average infection rate of Lyme disease of bovine was 12.45%, the average infection rate of Lyme disease of sheep was about 9.37%, the average rate of tick borne disease was about 25.29%, and the infection rate of mouse was about 17.2%. It indicated that animals and insects carry Lyme disease Borrelia burgdorferi in some areas of Qinghai Province.
